Systems Analyst
Leggett & Platt is seeking a Systems Analyst to lead Information Technology at our Precision Hydraulic Cylinders office in Wilmington, North Carolina.
In this position, you'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to manage all things US IT-related for the business by supporting the manufacturing plant and administration functions, leveraging your international IT counterparts and being the main liaison between Leggett & Platt Corporate IT and our third-party IT provider.
Essential responsibilities of a Systems Analyst:
- Demonstrate a customer-first approach.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex problems for end users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
- Research technical issues and solutions.
Define, create, test, and implement the best solution. - Establish and maintain best practices to ensure compliance with IT standards, processes, principles, and methodologies.
- Manage local network and servers, including integrating new server hardware and applications and keeping an eye out for updates
- Ensure network security and connectivity
- Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
- Support and administer third-party applications
A few things you ll need:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Information Systems or closely related field
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to respond with urgency and stay organized with conflicting priorities
- Understanding of Office 365 Application Suite
- Ability to work independently
- Proactive, self-educating mindset with an eye for detail
Things we consider a plus:
- Infor Visual ERP experience
- Ability to build and run SQL statements and/or Crystal Reports
- Experience troubleshooting CAD Software
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
