Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) developing and coordinating one of the following programs:
natural resources management program, environmental stewardship program, recreation program, flood risk management programs, water supply program, hydropower program, and policies for multi-purpose projects, with other federal, state, and local government entities, 2) exercising principal leadership and directing a subordinate staff of supervisors and carries out personnel management responsibilities to ensure productivity and efficient use of resources, and 3) utilizing subordinate supervisors to direct, coordinate, or oversee work of non-supervisory employees. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
