CRNA's are first call with Anesthesiologists present for all in operating room procedures but no participation in placement or management of labor epidurals or out of operating room procedural sedation procedures. Job Details:
oInpatient (10%) and outpatient (90%) clinical responsibilitiesoInpatient census:
34 patients per dayoAverage # of admissions per day 7-10 during the day/ 4 during the nighto7-day work/call coverage periodoCall is nights and weekends.o24hr call only on the weekend; shared with the CRNA.oBLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association) (AHA)o# of surgical cases per month:
approximately 175oBread and butter surgical cases:
General Surgery, ENT, Orthopedics, /OB-Gyn, Optometry, and Pediatric Dental, Endoscopy (pediatrics > age 2)oNo robotic or vascular surgeryoNo ICU/Critical Care DutiesoLt do not respond to codesoLT will not be expected to serve as backup in ERoMust be able to provide anesthesia independentlyoMust be comfortable providing Pediatric Anesthesia on healthy childrenPlease text, call or email:
