Sr Financial Reporting Accountant - Remote
The Senior Accountant performs a variety of advanced and specialized accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles andstandards to control the organization's financial resources and ensurescompliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reportingrequirements. Provides work leadershipand direction to other accountants. Collects and analyzes complex financial information. Prepares accurate, transparent and timely financial reports, accountingstatements and recommendations to support leadership in the decision making process. Reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, , regulatory reports and filings. Prepares journal entries; maintains and reconciles more complex general ledger accounts. Reviews reconciliations to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete. May provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. Ensures accuracy and compliance with all accounting regulations. Demonstrates ability to to audit requests timely with accurate and complete support. Experience:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 5
years). In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o Demonstrated project leadership and consultancy skills with ability to function as an effective and respected partner to clients o Advanced ability to navigate and perform functions within Oracle (ERP system) o Advanced knowledge of accounting/financial principles and best practices o Good business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments o Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data o Ability to work with ambiguity and complexity o Demonstrates executive presence and good presentation skills o Ability to influence at all levels of the organization
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
